So much Hooker loveeeee! Seems like this season is all about CaptainSwan happiness until it's ripped away when the hooded creature appears. Hook was admittedly completely useless again, like he's been for a couple of seasons now, but he's so damn adorable that my heart just can't resist him. And on top of that, even Henry got to do stuff, granted it wasn't that special.
I also kind of started to ship Hyde with Regina/the Evil Queen. If he can turn to the good side at some point and Regina and the Evil Queen fuse themselves together again, they might be an interesting couple. Though I bet that Hyde and Jekyll will be forgotten by the end of the season when this story arc is completed.
Even Snow was good in this episode! "I might be a princess but I can still track", oh she definitely had her moments. Planning the future, I wish it would work out that way but when is it ever going to be peaceful in Storybrooke? And are they not returning to the Enchanted Forest? Apparently not, we all know what a bitch meatloaf is back there.
The episode did not add anything big to the overall plot of the season but I liked seeing Cinderella and getting more of her backstory. Although I'm a bit skeptical about the portal to the Land of Untold Stories, you just open any door with that key and it takes you there? Felt a little like a plot device and we probably won't see the key again since the stepmother took it with her.
Still nothing about Aladdin or Jasmine or Jafar and seems like next weeks is going to be about Jekyll and Hyde but the week after that will give us the story of Aladdin. Until that, we probably won't get any information about other saviors or Emma's condition. Well, as long as Hook remains devilishly adorable, I'll be fine.

Once Upon a Time season 6 episode 2 - A Bitter Draught Review
I don't have a lot to say about this episode, to be honest. It wasn't bad but it wasn't anything amazing either. The biggest thing was probably the rise and fall of the Count of Monte Cristo, so to speak. At first I thought he would become one of the season regulars but then he was killed so I don't expect to see him again. I have not read his original story nor have I seen any movies he might be in so I was pretty indifferent to him the whole time.
I liked that Emma started to share her visions, she should be more open by now. I also liked how Hook apologized to Belle, it was about time he took some real responsibility (though I like him whatever he does). The Jolly Rodger was a nice idea but I don't think it hold Rumple off too long. Speaking about Rumple, the flirt between him and the Evil Queen was almost too much for a family show!
This episode focused mainly on out core cast, we didn't get to see Aladdin or Jafar or even Hyde. Regina & co found out that her evil side is still causing mayhem so now they probably start to figure out how to get rid of her for good. People on the Internet have predicted that eventually she will unite with her evil side and I agree, that's most likely what will happen.

Once Upon a Time season 6 episode 1 - The Savior Review
My favorite show is back on air! It was a pretty good premiere for the new season, we got to see a lot of bits that will hopefully play out nicely during the season. Still, knowing Adam and Eddy, I have my doubts.
I like that Aladdin was introduced and that he is (or was?) a savior. I'm very interested to learn his backstory. I don't mind that they changed the actor for Jafar but I do mind if they retcon something from Wonderland, I'm still mad how they handled Will on the main show. By the way, my first thought about that red bird was that it's a phoenix but more logically it's Iago. Hopefully Abu makes an appearance, too.
My favorite moment of the episode was Hook and Emma getting steamy on the couch, more happy couple moments, please! I'm tired of Emma always raising her walls, Hook is her true love, she should be fine sharing everything with him! Hook is still bae and devilishly handsome and all that.
Despite my love for Hook and identifying with Emma, Regina is the queen of the show. Bobby may be tired of playing Rumple but Lana Parilla is holding the whole show on her shoulders, bless that woman. Snow and Regina having a moment, man that was good. More friendship awesomeness, please!
I can't wait to see all the characters from the Land of Untold Stories, I wish there were some interesting ones. We could go back to the "fairytale of the week" style they did in the first season but I'm afraid the writers have lost that ability. Though I hear rumors that they are going back to the roots of the series and maybe doing a whole season arc instead of these half and half we've got since season 3. I'd like that very much, for some reason they haven't been able to keep those shorter arcs together and usually they feel rushed and not thought through.
Am I the only one who got hit by the fact how big Henry already is? He should get much more scenes, and good scenes, not those childish scenes they make him do. He has a girlfriend now, let's see some Henry & Violet! He's a big boy, make him do some big boy stuff! Maybe what's wrong with the show is that after season 1 Henry's role has been extremely insignificant except when he's the Author.
Oh, almost forgot! I liked Morpheus! Though I don't know if we'll see him again as Rumbelle's son, but the actor at least was nice and damn that burn on Rumple, own son telling his mom to avoid daddy dearie. If the writers can keep everything together, this should make an interesting season.

July Wrap Up
Pokémon Go was published in July and though I didn't mean to start playing it, seeing my brother play made me want to try also and then there was no coming back. Pokémon Go took a big chunk of my time I'd otherwise spend reading but despite that I managed to read five books.
The first two books I read were Blue Lily, Lily Blue and The Raven King by Maggie Stiefvater. I wrote a whole series review about The Raven Cycle, so I'm just going to say here that I enjoyed the series but wasn't fully satisfied with it.
After finishing the Raven Cycle I read The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson. My interest for this book was sparked by Once Upon a Time which introduced Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde as new characters in season finale. I wanted to be familiar with their original story before the new season premieres in September to fully appreciate the plot and easter eggs. The book itself was very short and quick read, though the construction of the book was very different from what I expected.
Then I got to the second book in my favorite new series the Lunar Chronicles, Scarlet by Marissa Meyer. Scarlet's character wasn't as good as Cinder but still the overall story keeped me very interested and excited and I surprisingly liked Thorne very much after his and Cinder's relationship stabilized. Wolf and Cinder went a bit too Twilight for my taste but other than that I enjoyed the book a great deal and am looking forward to getting into the third book.
The last book I had time to finish in July was The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by Frank L. Baum. Once Upon a Time was the reason to reading this, too, because the Wicked Witch of the West has been a character since season 3 so it's about time to get some insight on her. The book itself was a nice children story, though I kind of saw where it was going the whole time but it turned out a bit different than what I thought.

ONCE-haaste
Tuli vastaan netin syövereissä tälläinen pikku kysely, ja ajattelin että olisi hauskaa vastata itsekin. Tämä siis Once upon a time -sarjasta, mutta varmaan muistakin sarjoista löytyisi samanlaisia (tässähän voisi ihan alkaa tehtailemaan näitä, sarjoja kyllä riittää :D). Tämä muuten SPOILAA sitten rankasti paikka paikoin nelostuottaria!!
1. Lempihahmosi?
Tämänhetkisistä Belle/Will, tahdon saada nähdä miten he päätyivät yhteen, siihen asti en osaa suhtautua heihin.
8. Suosikkipahis?
- Jos Regina lasketaan pahikseksi, itse en kyllä laske. Pesunkestävistä pahiksista ehdottomasti Cruella, siinä vasta hävyttömän hyvä hahmo.
9. Inhokkipahis?
Miksi on poikettu Disneyn versiosta näin paljon?

Once Upon a Time - we demand answers
I don't know if Adam and Eddy plan to leave so many questions unanswered or do they just forget about some things they touch once and never speak about again. I made a quick list of things I'd like to know more about. There are probably a hundred more but for a start:
Season 4 so far has raised so many questions on its own. I'm sure the biggest questions like who the author is, why Will Scarlett isn't in Wonderland and why Maleficent is alive though Emma threw a sword to her stomach are gonna get answers on the second half of the season. Exciting question but one that I would like to get an answer to is how Kristoff and David know each other. They never explained it while the Frozen characters were present and now that they are gone I don't think we are gonna see them again. A little spark of hope is that they will shed more light on David's fathers story, which I'm not so interested in but then they could bring back Kristoff as a little boy.
Another thing from season 4A is Lily. Emma needs a friend and for a while Elsa was her friend and I loved that friendship but now Elsa is back in Arendelle and very unlikely to ever return to Storybrooke (or the Enchanted Forest for that matter if they ever get back there). Lily was Emma's friend and so far they haven't introduced any characters who didn't have some connection to Storybrooke or the Enchanted Forest. Although I don't want Lily to be another fairytale character, but I would like Emma to run into her again after all these years. Perhaps Rumple could meet Lily in New York.
That was it about season 4, now let's move on to older mysteries. There has been a lot of talk about the notorious Black Fairy. Who is she? Maleficent? Blue Fairy in disguise? I have no idea, but I hope we'll get an answer to this before the show's over, otherwise it's gonna be goddamn boring and infuriating.
From Black Fairy we get to the Wrath that took Philip at the beginning of season 2. I thought it was the last we would see him, but there he was at the beginning of season 3 saving Neal. How is Philip alive and how the hell did Philip, Aurora and Mulan cure Neal's gunshot wound? I'm seriously hoping the writers tell us that since Maleficent is back and Philip and Aurora are an essential part of Mal's backstory.
In season 3 we saw Regina splitting Snow's heart into two and giving the other half to Charming. I will be very angry if that won't cost them something at some point. I actually thought the spell of Shattered Sight wouldn't impact their feelings towards each other but as we now know, I was wrong.

Something I think we are never going to find out is what happened to Walsh after Zelena was defeated. Was he killed as a flying monkey? If not, where is he now? Did he go back to Kansas? Did he stay in Storybrooke, in hopes to be able to return to Oz? I don't believe we will get to know that in this life. What we might get to know is how Hook traded the Jolly Roger away in order to get to our world and to Emma. We saw Blackbeard again captaining the Jolly Roger, so fingers crossed.
This last one isn't an unanswered question but a very, very deep wish. And a very big wish also. I would die of happiness if Adam and Eddy decided to do a Neverland spin-off. They gave us so little during season 3 and I want more! I want to see Baelfire as a lost boy and Hook and Tink there and more of Robbie Kay as Pan. Please make this happen!

Once upon a time: high hopes and unbelievable epiphanies
Season three is coming to an end with six more episodes (according to Wikipedia, the trusted! source of all my information). The first half of the season wasn't as epic as I wished, but now with the Wicked Witch twist the show has successfully refreshed itself. Only downsize to that is that I have never happened to read a single book about Land of Oz, so I'm afraid that I might be missing some genius references. This summer I'm definitely doing some reading concerning Oz.
Since I'm not familiar with the Land of Oz I have no idea what to expect from the last episodes of the season. Are the characters going to leave Storybrooke again and find themselves in the Land of Oz? Are we getting more new characters from the Oz universe or are they being combined with old characters (the latter is what I've read from comments in Youtube, another great source of information and especially spoilers). I don't even know what to hope, I just want it to be awesome, whatever they do.
I was watching seasons 1 & 2 and there were some lines that could very, very faintly point at present event at the show, but I don't think the writers knew that far ahead. Still fun to speculate. One thing though is more than speculation: Zelina's father. In season two it was revealed that Cora and Rumpel had a little affair when she was young. Internet is betting heavily on Rumpel and in my opinion it would make sense. In that case Neal would be Zelina's brother and she just caused him to die. Will she regret that when she finds out or is Neal's destiny final? My money is on R.I.P Neal.
I still have my wishlist of fairy tale characters I'd like to see on the show and surprisingly 5/9 characters I listed did actually appear in one way or another this season. Rapunzel was a big disappointment but otherwise I'm quite happy how the others turned out. There has been rumors of some fairy tale characters appearing on the show and the creators have even made jokes about captain Jack Sparrow sailing to Storybrooke. I love Jack but I think one particular pirate is enough for now (especially when he's hot like hell <3). I wouldn't mind little PotC references though, the amount of Easter Eggs is getting smaller and smaller all the time (or I just don't spot them). Bring some of that first season magic back!
Edit: since the show is eager to get rid of villains for good once they are defeated (Pan, Blackbeard, Cora...), I have a wish for the next storyline. We have Robin Hood and his merry men, Sheriff of Nottingham dropped by briefly, so why not go a little further with that tale and bring along Prince John and Richard Lionheart (John being the villain of course). Because Prince John's personality is not so devious but rather spoiled, he would make an interesting and different type of villain than the ones we've seen so far.

Once upon a time (in Wonderland)
It's almost time for mid-season finale in both series, Once Upon a Time and Once Upon a Time in Wonderland. While the original series hasn't been as fascinating as previous seasons, the spin-off was a positive surprise. Trailers didn't promise much for me, but Wonderland turned out to be unexpectedly fresh and delightful.
I liked the main characters way more than I thought I would, based on the trailers and sneak peaks. Alice is a genuine young girl, but not some damsel in distress. She's determined and takes action instead of waiting men to take care of her problems. Knave is funny and a suitable partner for Alice, a little dark and sceptical.
The Queen of Hearts is fine, although I'm not sure if I like her past with Knave. Jafar and the whole Agrabah-extension is an interesting addition to Wonderland-dimension (but I'm getting tired of all the Lost-alums and there's no end to that). I'm hoping for Aladdin to make an appearance, and as a great tiger-fan, Rajah! They could make a lot of interesting plot twist with Aladdin, I'd love to see him in Wonderland.
So far the most boring character has been Cyrus the Genie. I partially don't even want Alice to reunited with him, since I think it would make the series tedious and cut Knave's screen time and at least his scenes with Alice. I wouldn't mind pairing Alice and Knave, they would be cute together, but as long as Cyrus is aboard, I don't believe the writers would do it. Well, fingers crossed.
About the original Once Upon a Time...
Season three has been a bit dull compared to seasons one and two, but not completely. Peter Pan's actor is great, although I'm not quite happy with his backstory (Rumpel's father, really??). Now that Peter is Henry/ Henry is Peter (I'm not sure which way is correct :D), Henry's actor has to upgrade his acting a great bit. So far the naive child has come quite naturally but evil Pan requires a lot more acting.
Rumpel has been in shadows almost the whole season, but Regina is wittier than ever ("I don't do rum"). I've laughed at her comments more than everyone else's together. I was positively surprised when Wendy, John and Michael appeared again, I thought the writers were done with them when Baelfire left them with the Shadow. Snow and Charming... yh, makes me wanna throw up every time they're on screen together. I would not have cried if Charming had died. Tinkerbell, as well as Peter, was not how I hoped she would be (what can I say, Disney for life and there's no changing that), but she's not that bad after all. At least she's not related to any of the other characters as about everyone else is. Nevertheless, Hook is as hot as always!
Now that Henry is "saved", what he seemingly is not, the gang will return to Storybrooke. I've missed some old characters like Red and Grumpy, but I don't think they get to live peacefully for long. A new villain is on her way (portrayed by the actress who played Charlotte on Lost) and Pan still is amongst them. Should be interesting at least.
